The white snowy scene all around us, ( at least in the north) makes the world look peaceful and very magical. The snow shoveling takes some of the fun away, but it is great exercise that we need after the season celebration.

Poncho’s and Ponchettes, scarves in braided techniques and in twirl technique are in great demand, they are nose to nose with the felted bags for your attention. We’ll have more pattern coming in soon for your winter enjoyment and entertainment. Please check our website at

Enjoy the Twirly Scarf Free Pattern ( for viewing picture, click on here) in luscious Stars or Brazilia, Lullaby and extravagant Monaco for special thick and thin effect.

Required: 2 balls Stars or Brazilia, 2 balls Lullaby and 2 balls Monaco ( your color choices)
Needles
: straight or long circular ( often easier with so many stitches) size: 6.5mm

Pattern: Holding 1 strand of Lullaby and 1 strand of Monaco together cast on 100sts.
Knit 1 row.
* M1 by knitting into front and back of next stitch* repeat to end of row.
Purl one row.
*M1 by knitting in front and back of next stitch* repeat to end of row.
Knit one row.
*M1 by knitting in front and back of next stitch, K1* repeat to end of row.
Purl one row
Knit 2 rows.
*K3, M1* rep to end of row.
K2 rows.
Change to Stars or Brazilia 1 strand and knit 4 rows, then cast off loosely. Sew in ends.

Caplet in Tweedy and Smart
Materials:
6.5 mm 35cm needles markers
4mm crochet hook yarn needle
2 balls "Tweedy" ( 95 m ) yarn bobbin
1 ball "Smart" (100 m )

Worked to fit a child 4 - 6 yrs ( for larger size 8-10) add 1 ball each
This project is all knit vertically in one piece.
Wrap about 10 m of Smart onto yarn bobbin.
wyrns: wrap yarn around next stitch
Border:
Cast on 48 sts in "Tweedy"
*Knit 1 row,
Increase 1 st. in 1st st. of next row* ; repeat twice. 50 sts. (this gives a rounded collar)

Stripe pattern: (remember to twist yarns at the change so there are no holes)
# K2 in "Tweedy", twist yarns; change to "Smart" K 30, wyrns, turn; slip 1st st. P 29, twist yarns; change to "Tweedy" K2, turn.
Next row: knit all stitches, turn.
Next row: K 1 in "Tweedy", twist yarns; change to "Smart" yarn bobbin K 5, wyrns, turn, slip 1st st. P 4, twist yarns; change to "Tweedy" K 1, turn.
Next row: knit all stitches, turn. #
Repeat all rows from # to # for stripe pattern until measurement is 2 - 3 inches more than the actual chest measurement outside of arms.

Repeat Border pattern ( now with decreasing as below): *Knit 1 row,
Decrease 1 st. in 1st st. of next row* ; repeat twice. 48 sts.
Cast off loosely.
With "Tweedy" single crochet one row at the fold of the collar to firm neckline and set the collar.
Work in any tails neatly.

The frog at neck was created using "Smart", a yarn needle and the embroidery stitch called the Daisy stitch, on the knitted yoke; the button is called a love knot

Requirements: 2 balls Punta, 1 ball Flamenco and 9mm needles
Cast on 24 sts. with both balls at the same time.
Knit 1 row Purl one row, repeat those 2 rows until flamenco is gone .
Cast on 15 sts. from the first sts of following row, cast off 17sts. (creates first tail)
*In the loop of the 17th cast off; cast on 15 sts., cast off 17 sts.*
Repeat * to * to last cast off which should be 16 sts
This creates 11 tails
Pick up 24 sts. on the cast on edge and repeat instructions for 11 more tails
