Back:

Cast on 73/77/81/87/91/95.

Border:

1^st row: *K2, P2 ; repeat from * to end of row, last st K1.

2^nd row: P1, * K2, P2 ; repeat from * to end of row.

Repeat last 2 rows once.

Main: 1^st row: K2/K0/K2/K2/K0/K2 * p3, k4 ; repeat from * to end of row until you have 0/2/1/0/2 sts left, P1,P0/P2/P1/P0/P2.

2^nd row: K1/K0/K2/K1/K0/K2, * p4, k3, repeat from * to end of row until you have 2/0/2/2/0/2 sts left, P2/P0/P2/P2/P0/P2

Last 2 rows set the pattern. Keep continuity of pattern and work 38 more rows.

Shape armholes: Work 6/6/7/8/10/11 rows decreasing 1 st at each end of every row.

Continue without shaping for 8/8/8/9/9/10".

Shape shoulders:

Cast off 10sts at begin of next 4 rows. Cast off remaining sts.

Left front:

Cast on 44/46/49/51/54/56 sts.

Work 4 rows in K2 P2 rib as on back.

1^st row: P0/P0/P0?P0/P1/P0, K2/K4/K0/K2/K4/K0, * p3, k4 ; repeat from * to end of row.

2^nd row: *p4, k3, repeat from * to last 2/4/0/2/5/0 sts, P2/P4/P0/P2/P4/P0, K0/K0/K0/K0/K1/K0.

Last 2 rows set the pattern. Continue as pattern set and work 38 more rows.

Shape Neck:

1^st row : patt to last 2 sts, patt 2tog ( at neck side)

2^nd row : patter 2 tog, patt to end.

Shape Armhole:

Work 6/6/7/8/10/11 rows decreasing 1 st at armhole in every row

at the same time start with your

further neck shaping by dec 1 st in every alt row at neck edge for 24 rows.

Shape shoulders: Cast off 10 sts patt to end . Cast off remaining sts.

Right front: work as given for left in reverse.

Sleeves ( work 2)

Cast on 65sts, work 4 rows garter stitch.

Now work in stst for 6 rows ( starting with a knit row).

Next: Work 8 rows dec 1 sts at each end.

Next: Cast off 2 sts at begin of next 4 rows.

Next: Cast off 3 sts at begin of next 12 rows.

Cast off remaining stitches.

Sew shoulders and side seams.

With rs facing pick up and knit starting at centre of back over shoulder and down front.

Next: Work 2 rows garter stitch.

Next: row: behind every knit- stitch add 1 stitch by m1.

Next row: Cast off knitways.

Repeat for other side :

Next: Pick up and knit starting at bottom of front going towards the centre back of neck.

Next: Work 2 rows garter stitch.

Next: row: behind every knit- stitch add 1 stitch by m1.

Next row: Cast off knitways.

Sew in all the ends and your arms.

Put on a button.
