Yarn: 10 balls of
Gem
Needles: straight 5.5mm and one 4.5mm circular 80cm
Due to knitted texture of yarn, make a little knot in the end of the yarn.
Abb.: K = knit P= purl StSt = knit or purl as it shows. K2tog = knit 2
stitches together
M1 = knit into back and front of next sts.
Back: Cast on 120 sts with size 5.5mm needle.
Work in K3,P3 rib for 8 rows.
Next: Knit one row.
Next : Purl next row.
Repeat last two rows 46 times ending with a purl row.
Work in stst throughout now and :
Shape armholes: Cast off 5 sts at begin of next two rows.
Then 3sts at begin of next two rows.
Next : K3, K2tog, K to last 5 sts, K2tog through back loops, K3
Purl one row.
Repeat last two rows 9 times.
Work 30 rows in stst.
Shoulder shaping: Cast off 8 sts on next 2 rows.
Purl 15sts, cast off for neckline until you have 15 sts left on other side, purl
to end.
Knit one row. Cast off.
Join yarn to the other side. Knit one row. Cast off.
First Front: Cast on 60sts with 5.5mm needles.
Work in K3,P3 rib for 8 rows.
Next: Knit one row.
Next : Purl next row.
Repeat last two rows 46 times ending with a purl row.
Work in stst throughout now and :
Shape armholes: Cast off 5 sts , knit to end.
Purl one row.
Cast off 3 sts and knit to end.
Purl one row.
Next row: K3, K2tog, knit to end of row.
Purl one row.
Repeat last two rows 9 times.
Next: Knit to last 5 sts, K2tog through backloops, knit 3.
Purl one row.
Repeat the last two rows 10 x
StSt for 10 rows. Cast off
Second Front: Cast on 60sts with 5.5mm needles.
Work in K3,P3 rib for 8 rows.
Next: Knit one row.
Next : Purl next row.
Repeat last two rows 45 times ending with a purl row.
Knit 1 row.
Work in stst throughout now and :
Shape armholes: Cast off 5 sts , purl to end.
Knit one row.
Cast off 3 sts and purl to end.
Knit one row.
Next row: P3, P2tog, purl to end of row.
Knit one row.
Repeat last two rows 9 times.
Next: K3, K2tog through back loops, knit to end of row.
Purl one row.
Repeat the last two rows 10 x
StSt for 10 rows. Cast off
Arms ( make 2):
Cast on 60 sts with 5.5mm needles.
Work in K3,P3 rip for 8 rows.
Knit one row.
Purl on row.
Repeat last 2 rows 4 times.
StSt now throughout and :
Next: K1, M1, knit to last 1 st, M1, K1. ( you have now 2 sts more).
StSt 3 rows.
Repeat last 4 rows 5 times.
StSt 24 rows.
Next: Cast off 5 sts on next two rows.
Next: Cast off 3 sts on next two rows.
Next row: K3, K2tog, knit to last 5 sts, K2tog, K3.
Purl one row.
Repeat the last two rows 9 times.
StSt 12 rows.
Next: Cast off 6sts on next 2 rows.
Next: Cast off 8 sts at next 2 rows.
Cast off remaining sts.
Finishing:
Sew together the shoulder of front and back pieces, the side seams, the arms
sides and the arms into the armholes of main body.
Then: with 4.5mm circular 80cm needle: Starting at bottom of right front (facing
the outside of your work) pick up and knit all sts along the frontline, along
the neckline of the back and down the frontline of the left side.
Purl one row.
Knit one row.
Purl one row.
Next row: K1, * M1, K1; repeat from * to end of row.
Purl one row.
Next row: K2, * M1, K2; repeat from * to end of row.
Knit one row.
Next row: K1, * M1, K1; repeat from * to end of row.
Knit one row.
Cast off all sts as follows: Cast of 2 sts , cast off 3 sts at once (by
K2tog, cast off). Repeat until all sts are cast off.
Sew in all ends.
