Crochet Bag in Kureyon with braided handle

Materials: Kureyon 3 balls ( shown in color 172)

Hook: 4mm

Abbreviations: SC= single crochet = insert hook, draw 1 loop, then draw 1 loop through both

Start:

Chain 50 and work in sc for 86 rows. Finish off.

Fold in half and close side seams.

Braided Handle: Cut 90inches long strands x 51 and 2 x 2" piece

Hold strands together and tie one end together (leave approx. 2" fringe) by wrapping a 2 " long strand around it. Fasten the ends of the 2" piece and sew into the bunch of strands.

Separate the bunch into 3 equal part and start braiding until only 2 " are left for the end fringes.

Wrap another 2"piece around as you did before on the other end.

Sew in all ends. Attach the handle.

You can as well felt the bag if you like.
