Kureyon felted bag

Materials: Kureyon 4 balls

Needles: straight 5mm (USA 8)

Abbreviations: sts= stitches,

stst = knit one row (= right side row), purl one row (= wrong side row)

Cast on 74sts.

Starting with a knit row, proceed in stst for 16 rows , ending on a wrong side row (purl row).

* Next row: Knit 20, cast off 34sts, knit 20.

Next row: Purl 20, cast on 34sts, purl 20. *

Continue in sts for 156 rows.

Next 2 rows: Repeat from * to *.

Stst for 16 rows and cast off.

Fold the bag in half, so the handles match.

The top piece of each handle: fold in half towards the inside of the bag and sew with whip stitch.

Sew side seams of bag.

To felt: place the bag into hot water for a while and then dry flat.

You can repeat this until you have your desired size of the bag.
