5.5mm in straight needles ,
circular 80cm and
circular
40cm length
Abbreviations: Increase = cast on
Using 5.5mm straight needles
Back: Cast on 80sts.
1st row: Knit to end.
2nd row: Purl to end.
Repeat the two rows 35 times.
Next row: Knit 25, cast off 30sts, knit 25.
Work one side over the 25 sts as follows : Purl one row, (Knit one
row, Purl one row) 3 times. Cast off.
Attach yarn to other side ( 25sts) and proceed as before.
Front: Cast on 10sts.
Next row: Purl one row.
Next row: Knit one row
Next row: Purl one row.
Next: knit to end and increase 3 sts
Next: Purl one row
Repeat last two rows 3 times more.
Next: Knit to end and increase 1 sts
Next: Purl one row.
Repeat last two rows 9 times more .
Next row: Knit to end
Next row: Purl to end
Repeat last two rows 5 times more
Next: Knit one row
Next: Cast off 1 sts, purl to end
Next: Knit to end
Repeat last two rows until you have 25 sts remaining..

Repeat last two rows 8 times. Cast off
Work other side as follows:
Cast on 10sts.
Next row: Purl one row.
Next row: Knit one row
Next row: Purl to end and increase 3sts.
Next row knit to end.
Repeat last two rows 3 times more.
Next: Purl to end and increase 1 sts
Next: Knit one row.
Repeat last two rows 9 times more .
Next row: Purl to end
Next row: Knit to end
Repeat last two rows 5 times more
Next: Purl one row
Next: Cast off 1 sts, knit to end
Next: Purl to end
Repeat last two rows until you have 25 sts remaining.

Purl one row
Repeat last two rows 8 times. Cast off.
Sew together the side seams, leaving an 8" opening for armholes on
both sides.
Using 80cm circular 5.5mm needles:
Border: Starting at middle of back bottom piece and facing right side
of work, pick up stitches along bottom of back to one side, along bottom
of one front upwards to neckline of front continuing at neckline of back
piece and further along neckline of other front down to bottom of front
piece to bottom of backpiece middle.
Now work in rounds with K1, P1 until you have 26 rounds finished.
Cast off.
Arms: Right side of work facing and using 40cm circular 5.5mm
needles:
Pick up 48 sts around front and back of armholes.
Knit in rounds for 37 rows.
Change to set of 4 needles in 5.5mm and proceed in K1, P1 for 13
rows.
Cast off.
Follow the above for the second armhole.
Sew in ends and enjoy your Bolero Jacket.
